COURSE REGISTRATION:
 
You may register for courses online by selecting a course, then a date and clicking the "Register Now" button.

Enrollments are accepted right up until 2 days prior to the start date of the course, however, class sizes are limited, so early enrollments are encouraged.
 


CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS ON E-LEARNING

The Technician Certification Program is being offered for several reasons and will benefit your dealership as well as your parts and service departments:

  • To ascertain a minimum level of competence across all dealerships performing service work on Caterpillar heavy duty truck engines.
  • To implement an official standard that all heavy duty truck technicians can be measured against.
  • To raise customer satisfaction by offering consistent levels of service to our end users.
  • A standard by which you can measure your technicians, both on the job and during the interview process.
  • By offering recognition to those technicians that achieve certification/ re-certification, we demonstrate the value we place on their talents and expertise.
  • Customers who see technicians with the "Cat Certified Technician" label will have a stronger trust and confidence in your dealership and its services.
  • Any technician failing to re-qualify every two years, must re-take the Engine Electronics course.

TECHNICAL CERTIFICATION EXAM
Two technicians per shift at each dealership must be certified on the On-line Heavy Duty Technician’s Certification Program.

REMAN CERTIFICATION EXAM
Two people at each dealership must be certified on the On-line Master Reman Parts Certification Program.

WARRANTY CERTIFICATION EXAM
One person at each Dealership must be certified on the On-line Warranty Certification Program.
